Abstract

Within the framework of landscape urbanism, which is interpreted as an interdisciplinary approach aimed at overcoming the disciplinary fragmentation between architecture and urban planning by including the landscape, the features of restoration of degraded industrial areas in different urban conditions are considered. Based on the analysis of iconic objects of landscape urbanism, which are implemented in practice in order to restore degraded production areas, their characteristic typological features are determined. The principles of landscape urbanism that can be applied to the restoration of degraded industrial areas -maintaining the sustainability of the urban system, achieving socio-economic efficiency and the formation of architectural and landscape integrity.
