РЕКОНСТРУКЦІЯ ЛЬОДОВОГО КАТКУ ТОРГОВО-РОЗВАЖАЛЬНОГО ЦЕНТРУ «ФРАНЦУЗЬКИЙ БУЛЬВАР» В ХАРКОВІ

Abstract

The ice rink of the French Boulevard shopping and entertainment center was erected in 2008 between the unfinished multi-story industrial buildings of the Piston factory. To increase the center’s retail space by 2500 m2, it was proposed to install two additional floors for elevation. 9.90 m and 15.90 m above the ice rink. Since the skating rink is built on all sides, problems arose due to the inability to use cranes and drilling equipment in the construction. For the installation of metal trusses, it was proposed to use reinforced concrete columns of adjacent frames, taking their metal clips. Additional metal columns were installed on the erected monolithic reinforced concrete foundations on a natural basis. For the installation of floor trusses,
manual hoists suspended from two monorails were used. Metal monorails were fastened to existing metal coating trusses. The reconstruction was completed in 2.5 months and 210 tons of metal structures were installed.
