During a long service period, the transport and operational qualities of the road deteriorate and cease to correspond to the needs of the movement of modern cars. In this case, it becomes necessary to reconstruct the road as a whole or its individual sections. In the absence of accurate design or passport materials, it is often necessary to determine the geometrical parameters of individual sections of the road in the plan and profile. The geometrical parameters of the curvature of a highway include the angle of rotation, the length of the tangents, the radius and length of the circular curve, the length of the transition curves, and the total length of the curvature. In order to obtain sufficiently reliable values of the parameters of complex rounding of the road plan, it is recommended to combine geodetic measurements and computational methods. The article describes the sequence of calculations of the radii of curves on the curves of highways and establishes the error in determining the radius of a circular curve
