Abstract

The article describes the principles of the first developed information‒accumulative matrix of the analysis of the functioning and development of the city as an open dynamic system. By monitoring the dynamic processes occurring in the city, this matrix allows us to identify a hierarchical system of ongoing processes to assess the strength of their influence on the city. This in turn makes it possible to determine the urgency and importance of making the necessary decisions, avoid a number of systemic errors that can critically affect the situation in the city and predict the forecast of the main indicators of the city's development, potentially dangerous for its stable existence.
