WAYS TO MODERNIZE UKRAINE'S HOT WATER SUPPLY SYSTEMS

Abstract

This article deals with the issues related to operation of existing hot water supply systems, both external and internal
networks. The analysis of causes leading to the emergency state of hot water supply systems is performed. The issue
of connecting towel warmers to hot water supply systems, instead of heating systems, is considered, as well as the
consequences of this connection. The analysis of the operation of the storage tanks of the hot water supply system is
presented. Modern domestic and foreign hot water supply systems are compared. The hot water consumption for the
last 20 years is considered, and the need to revise the existing rate of water consumption is substantiated. The article
is concluded with the following statement: the existing domestic hot water supply systems must be brought into
accordance with the world standards.
