The article is devoted to inclusive design principles, which today are necessary to create a complete environment for people with visual impairments. The main types of visual impairment were considered, as well as the basic principles that should be taken into
account when designing or improving buildings were identified: physical signals, sensory signals, landmarks, warning indicators, direction indicators, etc.
