Abstract

The article considers an atrium space in the context of urban environment. It acts as the focus of sociocultural processes and emphasizes an identity of urban space. An issue of additional conditions for pedestrian connections creating, a functional saturation and an establishment of a general atmosphere through the inclusion of atrium space. It was found that the quality of urban environment directly affects sociocultural processes of the city.
