Abstract

One of the main scientific areas of the discipline «Civil Protection» is the improvement of devices and methods of measuring the equivalent dose rate, as well as radiometric control of food products. The task of radiometric control is complicated by the large variety of foodstuffs that are constantly needed by humans. Each food must have an appropriate radiation control technique. The purpose of this study is to study the algorithm of the previous radiometric control in the selection of samples of bakery products by the dosimeter-radiometer MKS05 «TERRA». The paper proposes an algorithm for preliminary radiometric control in the selection of food products by performing measurements of the equivalent dose rate (EDR) of gamma radiation with the TERRA dosimeter-radiometer MKS-05. This algorithm, in contrast to the known, allows us to estimate all components of the total absolute measurement error.
