Abstract

The article considers the practice of reconstruction of existing industrial and civil buildings that are of historical and architectural value. Reconstructed buildings, most often, are already inscribed in the historically formed building and require an individual approach and nonstandard solutions. Analysis of the technical condition of existing structures of buildings according to the results of the survey shows that the defects that appeared during the long service life have mainly load-bearing structures, including foundations, walls and ceilings of basements, basements. Difficulties in studying the reliability of buildings
are associated with the use of different materials for physical and structural properties. The stability of quality and efficiency of the building as a whole depends on the reliability of structures and systems. When performing repair and restoration works of the underground part of buildings to increase their service life, a set of measures is performed, the main of which are: strengthening and restoration of structures, lowering - arrangement of drainage systems, as well as waterproofing works.
