Abstract

The article examines the French experience in protecting national culture in the field of architecture, supporting architects and popularizing French architectural education in the world. Initiatives at the legislative level governing the mechanisms supporting the national culture are considered. Many principles of the cultural policy of France in the field of architecture can be assessed as effective, and therefore worthy of attention and possible for implementation in Ukraine.
