ЗНАЧЕННЯ АРХІТЕКТУРНО-МІСТОБУДІВНОЇ СПАДЩИНИ КЛАССИЦИЗМУ В ПРОСТОРОВІЙ ТА КОМПОЗИЦІЙНІЙ СТРУКТУРІ ІСТОРИЧНОГО ЦЕНТРУ ХАРКОВА

Abstract

Studying the heritage of classicism in the aspect of the evolutionary development of the architectural ensemble of the center of Kharkov aims to: reveal the significance of the initial stage of the formation of the historical city in the successive development of the historical environment, determine the degree of preservation of the architectural heritage of this period and the nature of historical transformations influenced by historical evolution factors. The article analyzes the peculiarities of the transformation of public spaces, identifies the most significant heritage sites, evaluates 4 historical stages in the formation of the public spaces of the Old Center. The influence of the processes of historical evolution is traced in accordance with the tasks of developing a historical and architectural support(key) plan, which determines valuable territories with protected(safeguarded) cultural heritage objects as the most stable elements of the established urban framework. Comprehensive assessment of heritage sites includes: identification of historical, cultural and town planning value of objects, ensembles and their territories; highlighting the structure-forming elements of the historical urban environment; preservation of the leading spatial and visual dominants of the historical landscape, which determine the conditions for the orientation, perception and identification of the heritage in the socio-functional and spatial structure of the modern city.
