Abstract

The article discusses the international experience of designing and building preschool institutions, in particular in the UK, USA and Montenegro. The relevance of the research topic is related to education reform, which is now being actively carried out in Ukraine, as well as the problem of lack of kindergartens in conditions of dense urban development in the existing areas of urban formations, especially with high-rise residential buildings. The purpose of the study is to identify the best features in the architectural and planning organization of kindergartens in various leading countries of the world. The main research methods include the analysis of informational literature and electronic materials from domestic and foreign sources. The results of the study include the following observations: kindergarten institutions abroad are built on individual projects that fully take into account regional and local features of the urban development area of the building; Preschool institutions are usually designed with a flexible architectural and planning organization that helps to quickly respond to demographic, social, economic, educational and other aspects that are dynamic and
changeable under the influence of time; The most common are compact attached-built types of preschool institutions, which are blocked with residential and public complexes.
