The reuse of materials is currently a worldwide trend. It leads not only to reducing the consumption of raw materials, energy and reducing pollutants in the process of production of new products, but also to the gradual updating of the artistic and aesthetic qualities of the environment. These processes are due to the introduction of craft objects, small architectural forms, the realization of ambitious creative ideas. The using of a complex research methodology that are historical-theoretical, comparative-historical, structural-functional methods and experimental conceptual design method, allowed the author to identify methods of urban environment design with re-use of materials at different hierarchical levels. They are: urban (macro), object (mezo) and detailed (micro) levels. These processes are inextricably linked to the use of innovative technologies, the adoption of new ecological decisions, the introduction of the method of
"circularity of materials", the creation of scientific start-ups. This convincingly proves that urban design with recycling is becoming interesting, innovative and creates new forms, quarters, districts, parks, recreation areas, new design styles and, at the same time, creates a waste management culture for the consumer.
