КОМПОЗИЦІЙНА ЛОГІКА МІСТА В КОНТЕКСТІ ФУНКЦІЙ МІСТОУТВОРЕННЯ, МІСТОРЕГУЛЮВАННЯ ТА СТРАТЕГУВАННЯ МІСЬКОГО РОЗВИТКУ

Abstract

The article opens a series of publications on the impact of the main management approaches on the spatial development and architectural composition of Kharkiv. As such basic approaches are considered: urban planning as an architectural projection of the managerial function of urban formong, urbanistics – as a projection of the function of urban regulation and regional studies as a projection of urban development strategizing. A number of architectural and urban planning projects of the Soviet period are analyzed, the approach used is determined, and its influence on the adopted compositional decisions is revealed. The leading category in this analysis is compositional logic – a field of general ideas about the spatial development of the city, which unites different social strata and groups: professional corporations, municipal and state authorities, business circles and city communities. The publications will show the relationship between the dominant compositional development of the city and
the organizational forms of its implementation.
