ІСТОРІЯ СТВОРЕННЯ ТА СУЧАСНИЙ СТАН БУДИНКУ РОБІТНИКІВ ОСВІТИ В ХАРКОВІ

Abstract

Article is devoted to the study of the stages of formation of the volumetric-spatial structure and stylistics, the history of the creation of the building and the analysis of its current state in order to determine the architectural, cultural and historical value of the structure. This building, located in the central historical area of Kharkov, consists of several parts of different times, where the basis is a residential building (city mansion) of an outstanding public figure of the late XIX - early XX century. P.P. Flot. This is confirmed by a comprehensive literary archival and field research. The building has undergone significant changes and restructuring throughout its existence. The characteristic features of the post-revolutionary period were lost outside and in the interiors. In its current state, the house does not have sufficient grounds to include it in the register of architectural monuments. But some signs of the style of the 1920s. survived on its main facade. It is the facade that demonstrates today the features that were characteristic of the search "constructive-Ukrainian" style of architecture of Kharkov in the capital period. It is important to understand the significance of the building that by its existence the house reminds of the flourishing of the club movement in the first third of the twentieth century, in terms of which Kharkov was ahead of most European cultural centers at that time. Based on the results of the analysis of archival materials and the fixation of the current state of the building of the Kharkov Teacher's House, it was concluded that it’s necessary to insist on the cultural and historical value of this object for Kharkov; the expediency and relevance of granting this building the status of a historical and cultural monument of local importance has been substantiated.
