У статті розкриваються основні проблеми розвитку одного з неостилів еклектики – «неоренесансу» – та його окремого історико-регіонального стильового напряму – французького Ренесансу. На конкретних прикладах будівель Харкова кінця ХІХ – початку ХХ століть проводиться порівняльний аналіз композиційних принципів формування споруд та прийомів побудови пластики фасадів. Актуальність теми обумовлена виявленням їх національно-історичних особливостей.
The article reveals the main problems of development of one of the neo-styles of eclecticism - "Neo-Renaissance" - and its separate historical and regional style - the French Renaissance. On the basis of certain examples of Kharkiv buildings of the end of the XIX - beginning of the XX centuries the comparative analysis of compositional principles of formation of constructions and methods of construction of plastic facades is carried out. The urgency of the topic is due to the identification of their national and historical features.
